Putting the Bam Back In Bama

While Shula, Kines, and the Tide were teaching Texas Tech what a defense is, Tom Thumb Tubberville and the Auburn Tigers were their normal, whining, not prepared team that forgot to get off the train and show up to play Wisconsin.

The Badgers must have been confused. After all, Thumb Tubs’ team was predicted to clobber the Badgers. But as usual, Thumb Tubs and his Tigers spent most of their prep time running their mouths about how great they were that they forgot something very important: humility.

Check the records that go back to the 1890’s, and Auburn has a long history of complaining, whining, and claiming things aren’t fair. No wonder they only possess a half of a national championship, and only a handful of conference titles.

So Auburn fans, give this some thought: 12 National Championships and 23 Conference Titles. Learn this from Bama and Shula: Win with humility, and lose with dignity. When Auburn learns those lessons, maybe then they’ll be ready to get into the Championship game. Until then, Auburn will always be Auburn: complaining, whining, and losing.

me thinks Florida fits in the same boat as Auburn, a blue and orange cry baby boat.
